Amy & Amy

I first spoke to Amy & Amy back in 2020 in the height of the Covid pandemic. At a time when the world was a scary place to be living in these two beautiful souls still managed to reach out and book with me for their wedding day photography. I appreciated and admired them for still advocating 'love' in a time when the world really needed it. It was a time of unsurety and I, like any other photographers in my field, began losing hope that weddings would become extinct for some time and our businesses would suffer. However when Amy and Amy reached out to me it gave me a sense of hope and belief that this was only temporary and the world would once again go back to normal and weddings would return. They booked me straight away and I couldnt have appreciated it anymore during that dreadful time.

Amy and Amy got married at The Parlour At Blagdon which is a unique and idyllic wedding venue, perfect for couples who have either opted for an intimate or lavish day with a beautiful country outdoor wedding.

This secluded oasis is located on the Blagdon Estate in Northumberland which is only a 10-minute drive north of Newcastle.

The Parlour has a rustic romantic setting with superb food and the highest levels of service, and their location is the perfect spot for creating the perfect memories.

When their wedding day arrived I was very excited to get shooting and capturing all these wonderful memories for them. Both brides looked truly stunning and their wedding ceremony was beautiful and like true fashion I had a little tear behind the camera. The day was also such a vibe and lets just say the friday feeling was definitely amongst their wedding guests after seeing some of their dance moves on the dancefloor haha! Their family also made me feel so welcome and included and I just absolutely loved my day with them all.
